1999 VESTAL SENIOR WINTERGUARD - MYCGC "AA" CHAMPION

Celine Dion's "To Love You More" was the motivation for this park setting - an authentic looking fountain surrounded by guard statues and "water fairies".

2002 CICERO-NORTH SYRACUSE MARCHING BAND

Authentic, right down to the broadway shows of the time, this sprawling set delivered the audience to downtown Broadway in the post WWII era.

2000 VESTAL SENIOR WINTERGUARD

A double gate that soared 15 feet high and spanned 24 feet, and an intricately painted floor served as the basis of this abstract interpretation of Heaven and Hell. Two "Pearly Gates" resting on a bed of clouds were dramatically transformed into the "Corridor to Perdition". The floor was opened and the gates were turned to completely transform the set and mood. The change in color was so dramatic that you could actually sense the darkening of the gym!

2001 SPECTRUM INDPENDENT WINTERGUARD

Designed to depict a sacrificial rite, the set was complete with ancient columns, a ceremonial altar, and even a night sky. You may notice that the altar was actually Vestal's 1997 set with a little of the Propdaddy's re-design magic.

2004 MEXICO WINTERGUARD

Music - "Vogue" by Madonna. Features: floor accented with "studio lighting", eight foot portraits of famous faces from the covers of premier magazines.

2002 MOUNT MARKHAM COLOURGUARD

"An exploration into the 3rd dimension of indoor pageantry". This design was a plethora of geometric shapes juxtaposed on a giant "graphpaper".

2002 OXFORD ACADEMY WINTERGUARD

Performed to Elton John's "Your Song", the "grande staff" floor design provided the perfect setting for the guard to perform as the musical notes.

2001 VESTAL SENIOR WINTERGUARD

Twenty boxes precisely designed and crafted to not only house the guard members at the start of the performance, but also to be wheeled and stacked into a pyramid for the finale!

The inside of a young girl's home is the backdrop for this guard's performance to the music of Vanessa Carlton's "Ordinary Day", except that the performance and this beautiful set was anything but ordinary.
